VALUE CHAIN MODEL

Value chain model is an economic model in agriculture whose purpose is market orientation. Based on national and international signed agreements and contracts, corporations, government and local authorities are replaning the planting areas in according to their sizes and technical standards, which supports effectively the installation of international-standard-processing plantsand distribution channels in Vietnam and abroad; from then farmers, agricultural cooperatives and organizations can join in the same chain of production, processing, consumption, which helps to increase added value for Vietnamese agricultural products and to bring economic benefits for parties in the chain.

Social power such as government polices, finance and investment capital, technical barriers, infrastructure, logistics and human resources are optimized into value chain so as to create the biggest strength for comprehensive development.
